For the second consecutive season, Woolwich Arsenal's home game with Aston Villa was abandoned after 80 minutes due to poor light. This time Arsenal were leading 2-1. A win would have lifted them off the foot of the table.
The game was replayed on 15 March and finished 1-1. A good run of results at the end of the season meant that the lost point didn't matter too much.
